THANKSGIVING & HOLIDAYS
THANKSGIVING: How can we give thanks? By watching Ducks Football on Turkey Day!! How would our average on-fire Believer in Messiah react to that? Sweet potato, couch potato, TV, beer with all the relatives talking about their hoped-for Christmas presents. What churches are open on this National Holiday and who is giving any thanks to YaHVaH. Laugh? How can you sit there mesmerized to the one-eyed idol? If Thanksgiving is only turkey, TV and football then when it’s over, I ask, “Is that all there is to it?”
Bow our heads. Thank YaHVaH in sincerity for friends, for the air to breathe, the dry roof over our bedrooms, our transportation, and food. Thank YaHVaH for His Feasts, and even for this manmade American festival of Thanksgiving.
1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the unMighty One, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of YaHVaH; and in his law does he meditate night and day. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
Christ and Mass
Who is "Christ"? Why not use the correct word, Messiah, instead of Christ! For reference see "Come Out of Her My People" by C.J. Koster, page 70. http://www.fossilizedcustoms.com/christian.html " Ancient Babylonian influences abounded then, and abound now, hidden in plain sight. Alexandria was the primary launching point for the new fusion religion we know as "Christianity" today. The word "Christos" is directly related to Krishna, Crestos, and Chreston. These literally mean "shining", as they refer to the sun. Krishna is the sun deity of the Hindu religion."
What is the Mass? "The Mass is the bloody sacrifice of Jesus Christ"
in body and blood, soul and divinity. " (ref. The Catholic Encyclopedia; St. Joseph's Missal)
Hebrews 10:7-12 (about Yahosha) “Then said I, Lo, I come in the volume of the book it is written of me, to do Thy will, O Yahh 8: Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O Yahh. He takes away the First, that he may establish the Second. 10 By the which will we are purified through the offering of the body of YaHOSHA Messiah once for all. 11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of the Sovereign One...
Revelation 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, (o. pneuma) and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that all of you be not partakers of her sins, and that all of you receive not of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Mighty One has remembered her iniquities.
1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know all of you not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, says he, shall be one flesh.
The Galatians are not Hebrew; they are Gentiles:
Galatians 4:8 Nevertheless then, when all of you knew not Mighty One (Father), all of you did service unto them which by nature are no Mighty Ones. 1
9-11 But now, after that all of you have known Mighty One, or rather are known of Mighty One, how turn all of you again to the weak and beggarly elements, unto which all of you desire again to be in bondage? 10 All of you observe days, and months, and times, and years. 11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
1 Thessalonians 4:5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not Mighty One that no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter
JeremiYah 10 1 Hear all of you the word which YaHVaH speaks unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus says YaHVaH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. 3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. 4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must essentially be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
Ezekiyl 11:12 And all of you shall know that I am YaHVaH: for all of you have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
Deuteronomy 12:2 These are the statutes and judgments, which all of you shall observe to do in the land, which YaHVaH Mighty One of your fathers gives you to possess it, all the days that all of you live upon the earth. 2 All of you shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which all of you shall possess served their Mighty Ones, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: 3 And all of you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and all of you shall hew down the graven images of their Mighty Ones, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 4 All of you shall not do so unto YaHVaH your Mighty One.
1 Kings 14:22-24 And Judah did evil in the sight of YaHVaH, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done. 23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree. 24 And there were also Sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which YaHVaH cast out before the children of Israel.
2 Kings 16:2-4 Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of YaHVaH his Mighty One, like David his father. 3 But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea, and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the abominations of the heathen, whom YaHVaH cast out from before the children of Israel. 4 And he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
2 Kings 17:32 So they feared YaHVaH, AND made unto themselves of the low of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places. 33 They feared YaHVaH, and served their own elohim, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence. 34 Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not YaHVaH, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which YaHVaH commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel; 35 With whom YaHVaH had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, All of you shall not fear other elohim, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them: 36 But YaHVaH, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, Him shall all of you fear, and Him shall all of you worship, and to Him shall all of you do sacrifice. 37 And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which He wrote for you, all of you shall observe to do for evermore; and all of you shall not fear their elohim. 38 And the covenant that I have made with you all of you shall not forget; neither shall all of you fear their elohim. 39 But YaHVaH your Sovereign all of you shall fear; and He shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. 40 Nevertheless they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner. 41 So these nations feared YaHVaH, AND served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.
JeremiYah 2:19d; 20-23 For of old time I have broken your yoke, and burst your bands; and you said, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree you wander, playing the harlot. 21 Yet I had planted you a noble vine, wholly a right seed: how then are you turned into the degenerate plant of a strange vine unto me? 22 For though you wash yourself with alkali, and take you much soap, yet your iniquity is marked before me, says YaHVaH Mighty One. 23 How can you say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see your way in the valley, know what you have done: you are a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
IsaiYah 1:22-25 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water: 23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loves gifts, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come unto them. 24 Therefore says YaHVaH, YaHVaH of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: 25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and thoroughly purge away your dross, and take away all your tin:
IsaiYah 2:7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots: 8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:
IsiaYah 2:17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and YaHVaH alone shall be exalted in that day. 18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
IsiaYah 8:13-21 Sanctify YaHVaH of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. 14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for an animal trap and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. 15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared, and be taken. 16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. 17 And I will wait upon YaHVaH, that hides his face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for him. 18 Behold, I and the children whom YaHVaH has given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from YaHVaH of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion. 19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mumble: should not a people seek unto their Mighty One? for the living to the dead? 20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. 21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their Mighty One, and look upward.
We pray for one another that the Heathen Seasons are not a stumbling block to the saved Jews and Gentiles. We will not practice ANY of their customs, nor bring it into our traditions which are commanded. Let us be inspired energized and encouraged by YaHOSHA's pure spirit, the Ruach ha Kadosh.
