BONDAGE OF KIPPAH OR BLACK HATS? JEWISH BONDAGE?

Debarim/Deuter 22:12-13 Thou shalt make thee fringes/tzi tzi upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself
TsephanYah 1:8 “..such as are clothed with strange (foreign) apparel.
Zech 3:4 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.
And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment.
And I said, Let them set a fair mitre upon his head. So they set a fair mitre upon his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the YAHVAH stood by.

8:23. Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the YAHVAH of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the YAHVAH.
Thus saith the YAHVAH of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that Elohim is with you.

This is a study on kippah/hats, beards and fringes. In this website I suggest links you can surf to in order to study deeper. WWW.YATI.org WWW.karaite-Korner.org I cannot “build fences” around everything I say
In our study, we should start at the beginning. We will not run first to 1 Corinthians 11 and proclaim, “There it is, it is a shame for a man to cover his head! Therefore Aaron and high priests were guilty of having a covering.” No, we start in the Torah; find the original intent and understanding and let these Scriptures interpret Paul’s writings. In verse fourteen it explains: “Does not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have LONG HAIR it is a shame unto him?” Matthew 9 might indicate that Messiah had short hair and never took a Nazarite vow.
Matt 14:34 “They begged Him to touch the fringe (tzi-tzi) of His garment.

In the criticism of “Jewish” laws, the kippah/small hat issue is usually near the top of the list. The main objection is based on a private interpretation of 1 Cor 11. Without going to the basic foundation found in the Torah, the false idea is formed from 1 Corinthians that Shaul/Paul teaches men not to wear any head covering.
Research exists that a skullcap (not a kippah) is a solar disc from Babylon and should not be worn by pure men of YAHVAH. The booklets, “Babylon Mystery Religion” by Ralph Woodrow, and “Come Out of Her My People” C.J. Koster have great research on pagan symbols and customs as the solar disc.
Other websites I list might have deeper documentation on the wearing of kippah for men. Some believe 1 Corinthians indicates a man normally is not to wear his hair as would a woman.

If the wearing of kippah is sin, then Moshe and the priests were sinning.
Can we change the normal shape of a man's round head? No. So, if this round kippah is unpalatable to tastes, we might add two dog-ears to the hat, or, stick a bill on it somewhere. Seriously the word for hat or kippah in the Hebrew, 6287 pe'er (beauty, bonnet, tire), or 4021 migba'ah (a cap) also describes a towel wrapped around the head, a turban. To avoid appearing to be a strange I’ll stay with the traditional kippah. And, if that offends our “holy” Gentiles, I’ll go with the round hat with earflaps.
The Savior Messiah and the Emissaries wore the proper Hebrew attire.
Scriptures dealing with the kippah can be found in EzekiYL 24:17
Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.
23 And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another. (believers);
Eze 44:18 (Levite priests)
Eze And it shall come to pass, that when they enter in at the gates of the inner court, they shall be clothed with linen garments; and no wool shall come upon them, whiles they minister in the gates of the inner court, and within.
They shall have linen bonnets upon their heads, and shall have linen breeches upon their loins; they shall not gird themselves with any thing that causeth sweat.
Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long; they shall only poll their heads.

As you can see it is not sinful to wear Hebrew attire, especially if you are considered a priest who ministers to YaHVah. We are kings and priests when we become born again. As priests of YAHVAH, our attire needs to be proper.
Shemoth/Exodus 28:40
And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for beauty and for beauty.

29:9 And thou shalt gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and thou shalt consecrate Aaron and his sons.

39:28 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
And a mitre of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,

Vy/Lev 8:13 (priest). And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them; as the YAHVAH commanded Moses.

We are kings and priests in Messiah. Normally, since we are not Yiddish, we do not use the term, yamikah. The term, yamika, is from Yiddish speaking people. The Hebrew word is “kippah”.
The taleet with tzi tzi, the ribbon of blue cords ought to be worn by all. Nu.15:37-41, “Speak unto the Hebrew children (you and I) and bid them that they make them fringes..a ribband of blue (thread)”.***...

By the way, of the various methods of attaching the hat, Velcro works best. YaHOSHA and the Apostles or taught ones did not use Velcro in their days, but we can be sure that YaHOSHA did not break His Torah, nor His Father’s (Who are One) Torah and that He DOES wear the kippah. We are to follow in His steps. Phil. 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the ELohim of peace shall be with you. ‘ They say, “But YaHVaH, I can’t do it!” He answers, we can do it in His strength.
:13 I can do all things through YaHOSHA which strengtheneth me.
1 Kepha (Peter) 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Messiah also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Jer.6:16 Thus saith YHVH, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Why would there be such a big deal about it? Men have thousands of different hats they like to wear with logos, and one never hears any complaints about men’s hats. But just let someone follow Scripture correctly, and someone is upset.
1 Yochanon 2:6
“He that saith he abideth in Him ought also so to walk, even as He walked”
JeremiYah 6:16. “Thus saith YAHVAH, stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” (above)

Yet Orthodox male Jews and Hebraic’s risk being identified by YAHVAH’s enemies in wearing the kippah, Taleet, short hair and Beard in obedience to The Scriptures. These mostly devout men give of their time to YAHVAH at the Wailing Wall, synagogues and in the privacy of the forest or home. Are you willing to endure even that much persecution over what is considered such a trivial issue? The only logical reason to wear such garments is we love YAHVAH and do not want to offend Him. We have fear and awesome respect for Our Father, Who is able to cast both spirit and soul into hell fire.

The kippah should be worn at least in the assemblies always. Sleeping, labor, hunting, swimming and so on, probably are not times to wear the hat. Whatever the color, shape I do not know. “Jewish” history and tradition cannot serve as a final rule of thumb. An old argument is “Kippah is symbolic of sun worship; the hat is round”. Aaron, the high priests and all believers would then be guilty of sun worship. This was not the case. Something else round like the sun is our heads; should they be removed? Maybe they already have been!

The Western person is so obsessed with not having to walk in Torah he forgets that YaHVaH wants him to have a joyful life and future. They say it is bondage to wear black hats, beards, tzi-tzi's, keep the Sabbaths, New Moons and to eat clean. YaHVaH Creator and Messiah has given us these good judgments for our blessing.
We ought to love to tithe, attend services, eat the commanded clean foods, and not want to have pagan things. Of course, if a person is not even concerned with the main issue (repentance), why would he worry about repenting from the so-called "minor". To a true believer, there is no minor commandment.
Matthew 9 9:20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.

JeremiYah 14:3 says they covered their heads in shame. This refers to one putting the hand over his head in unbelief, in our understanding.

As if the wearing of a hat is such a big inconvenience and in the USA they cost three dollars or more! Oh, too much! Forget it!

Head Coverings such as black hats: You can just hear excuses now: “When I get to the pearly gates, I’m sure they will ask me ‘What kind of a hat did I wear? What day of the week did you observe? Did you ever eat a bacon sandwich? Wrong answer, sorry! You cannot enter. Please leave!”
Reminiscent of Adam and Eve in Genesis: “Which tree of the garden did you eat from now? Woops! Wrong tree, sorry! You will have to leave the Garden.” “I won’t be judged on outer appearance only inner!” Our actions are possibly more important than what we profess. One NT passage gives hint that swine are still unclean. YaHOSHA did not waste good food. In Matthew 8 however he sent the huge herd of swine over a cliff into the sea. Other website links exhaust the subject. WWW.TNT.org by HezekiYah is quite useful in this area. Remember our disclaimer about other sites. They use different Names for YaHVaH.
What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world and loose his own soul? Revelation, IsaiYah 65, 66 along with Lev. 11 is proof that unclean means abominable. It is consistent then that it is sinful to eat.
Romans 11 sets the stage that Gentiles are grafted into the Hebraic tree or system. We are not “Jewish” if we are not circumcised inwardly.
Roman 2:28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Elohim.

The term, Gentile, is applied often to the diaspora, the scattered twelve tribes. Hebrew is the prevalent generation above all peoples, most of the “Gentiles” have been eliminated. Meaning that most of us are not the Gentiles some wished we were. Hopefully they do not run around like a bunch of rebellious, uncircumcised buffoons. But some are born of Greece; they are Gentiles.
If we are Gentile, do we abide by our Gentile covenant and belief? No there is no Gentile covenant. Hebrews 8:10 is for ALL nations.

                    PERSECUTION for the TRUTH:

for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. Matthew 13:21

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Messiah? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. Romans 8:35
12 Yea, and all that will live YaHVaH like in Messiah YaHOSHA shall suffer persecution. 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto 16All scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim or YaH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of Elohim or YaH may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Salvation through faith which is in Messiah YaHOSHA. 2 Timothy 3:12-17.

Finally, here are U.S. Laws about the wearing of beards for religious reason:

U.S. Federal statute regarding beards and the Sabbath can be found at www.BibleSabbath.org/articles/sabbathwork or WWW.Giveshare.org
Look for Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII as amended (Section 701(j), sections 703 and 717); Part XII of EEO guidelines. See scheduling and practices including beards. The burden of proof is on the employer concerning "undue hardship. It means he has to hire a replacement person to fill in for you this is what is known as "reasonable accommodation". He must choose "what least disadvantages you" including the extra costs.

EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE:
Some live not by Yahvah’s way but live by EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE. They want to cross the line, or live close to it and live as worldly as possible. Like many in these last days. Why not follow ALL of the Word of YAHVAH today?

Eating Things:
Matthew 15:18 “But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. :20 These are the things which defile a man: But to eat with unwashen hands defileth NOT a man.”
YaHOSHA Messiah said here that it does not matter if you eat unclean animals? Nonsense! That certainly would have been an big exception clause.
Seemeth a small thing to ignore YaHVaH’s food law to us Westerners? We ingest the swine, the mouse and any abominable animal and call ourselves by His Name. People, we are disgusting to YAHVAH the Creator. It is high time to repent. Love our Master and show Him our total commitment and love.
The following is excerpted from a complete list of common food additives which may be non-kosher found at WWW.Karaism.com and here begin to search.

Ice Cream Cones and Unclean Ice Cream:
Vanilla - Vanilla is often combined with animal glycerin. Search glycerin.

He says, "My heart is right, therefore instead of leaning on the conservative orthodox side of caution, I will do anything I want!” Such as? Let's give that student credit. “I'll do anything I want, such as keeping the statutes, judgments and commandments of YAHVAH. I'm going to keep ALL His Sabbaths, feast days and new moons. I'm preparing and laying aside the second tithe, which will take care of food and travel at the Feasts of Unleavened Bread and Tabernacles. I will give to the widow and the orphan, and keep myself pure.

The first sin was eating something. Remember? Nothing changes.
"Since I know the basics in the Torah, 'ANYTHING I WANT' will not include eating pork, ham, shellfish or snails, breaking Sabbaths, nor having sex outside of marriage or with animals." Believers start to become blessed.

Civet Cat food additive - Civet is used in beverages, candy, pastries, gum and ice cream. It is derived from the unctuous secretion from the gland receptxxx of both male and female African Civet-cats (Viverra civetta). WWW.Karaism.com

The real question is, "How many sins am I willing to commit to do
violence to Torah and pour vomit upon the precious offering of
The Messiah?" "How many sins would it take to impale Him freshly
upon the tree of torture at Calvary?" Only one sin! My sin! Your sin!

An article by Procter and Gamble suggests three products may be clean. At WWW.PG.com in 2013 lists Crest Cavity Protection Cool Mint Gel; Crest Cavity Protection Regular Paste; Crest Gum Care and Crest Kid’s as not containing animal by-products. The Icy Mint Past, baking soda, whitening, MultiCare, sensitivity protection, tartar protections and with Baking Soda may contain such animal by-products.

In milk, vitamin D3 may come from unclean animals. D3 in our area of N.W. America uses lanolin from sheep and is clean. You may look into that further. Cutting off milk without replacing the calcium from reliable plant foods could have detrimental effects on your body. Taking unclean animals into your body could have adverse effects on your spiritual body.

We ought to love to tithe. This ministry does not collect tithes. We recommend spreading the Word through the Gideons www.gideons.org Beware of ministries publishing the Scriptures but adding denominational beliefs and newer modern corrupted texts. Also www.TLV.org

Please order the dollar pamphlet, “The King James Bible Companion” with over 500 archaic words defined by David W. Daniels. The KJV or King James Version Scripture is from the original Antioch scrolls. “Thee and Thou” pronouns are printed instead of referring to YaHVaH as “Hey you!” Alexandrian scrolls are sometimes corrupted modern versions. They leave out Scriptures the equivalent of the books of Peter in the (NT).
Some modern Jews are liberal. The Orthodox, generally of not yet accepting the Messiah, none the less are dedicated. We see liberals who compromise to exist. Meanwhile, the serious believers are giving up their lives, jobs, homes, you name it, for YaHVaH. How many of us can stand there at the wailing wall and truthfully say we have put YaHOSHA the Messiah on the throne of our intellects? I wish that we could all truthfully say that!
The Karaite Jews or conservative students are closer to obedience. But modern Jewish is NOT ENOUGH. Judah has lost identity with YaHVaH.
.
How many can say that if the Commandments, Statutes and Judgments are right, I will take the TIME to do PERSONAL study? Psalm 19 “The statutes are right, rejoicing the heart!” Be more fully accountable to YaHVaH than to pastors and mere men; YahVaH Whom you might call by title as ‘Father YaHVaH.’ What does IsaiYah 8:19-20 in the KJV mean to you? “To the Torah and to the Testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. “ See the light! The light of the world is Messiah.
Those who accuse us of being legalists ought also to accuse Paul of the same. Did Paul try to dupe Jewish believers by keeping Feasts of YAHVAH (all things to all people)?

WHEN WE OUGHT To PRAISE ?

This article is meant to be non-confrontational, but presented in genuine love.
We will refer to the Messiah as YAHVAH or YahVah ha-Mashiach, the Creator, see Col. 1. Each year the family travels to peaceful places to Praise Yahvah, hear inspiring preaching, sing, fellowship,
and have big meals together. It's hard to imagine a Feast being called 'bondage'. The main problem some have with YAHVAH's Law is His call to assemble together on the New Moons and Sabbaths, Isaiah 66:23, Zech. 14, Lev 23. How and when to praise YaHVaH is specified in these verses. Will you go there? Some just meet in homes and back yards. But this is a chag pilgrimage feast which means we will want to travel to a special place.
Paul says to avoid striving about The Law, Titus 3:9 and 1 Tim 1:7.
We should meet in convocation with like-minded believers when YAHVAH tells us to in Leviticus 23 found in the Torah.

MORE COMMON OBJECTIONS TO YAHVAH'S TORAH:
"All we need is 'Just Jesus' (Not His real teachings, but His gifts)." Or “Relationship” (of variable commitments) not “religious”
James 2. “Pure and undefiled RELIGION is this: The care and feeding of orphans and widows and keeping oneself UNSPOTTED from the WORLD. -
What IS the Gospel? 1 Cor 15:1-4 which tells the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah is paramount. Remember, YahVah, The Messiah was DEAD three nights and three days in Matt 12:40 and 28:1. He was
impaled and buried before the end of Aviv or Nisan 14. He arose 72 hours later (Month of Aviv 14, plus 3 nights and days equals Aviv17). These dates annually rotate to different DAYS of the WEEK.
There is no prophecy that said it would change His Sabbath day of praise.
  More lawless statements:
“KEEPING THE LAW (PRAISING YAHVAH ON HIS COMMANDED SEVENTH DAY) IS BONDAGE.” When does obedience equal bondage? In every case, sin is bondage. Keeping Sabbath is not sinful bondage. Man changed laws, so at times, keeping Sabbaths DOES seem like bondage. Losing employment, receiving discrimination from religious leaders who want you to pad their pews and pave their parking lots, that's bondage! But, should I obey man? No! Custom and tradition is vanity. Should I obey YaHVaH? Yes!

"WE'RE NOT UNDER THE LAW, BUT UNDER PARDON." Are Believers above the Law? Romans 8:7 "Because the carnal mind is enmity against Yahvah, for it is NOT SUBJECT TO THE LAW (THE TORAH) OF YAHVAH, neither indeed can be". Are you subject to His Law (of praise)?
Eph. 2:8 10 "We are His workmanship...unto good works". Yahvah tests our obedience to see if we love Him, 1 John 5:2 3. We pray because we praise and make intercession. We tell people The Evangel (Gospel) to lovingly assist and teach them. But, none of this saves us. Yet, these are WORKS. ‘Raising our right hand at an "altar call" without anyone looking around so as not to embarrass the person’ is works! So is singing!
Galatians 2 opens with the Law of Circumcision, and closes in Chapter 6 with the same thought. The ADDED Law due to transgressions is the death penalty, the carnal ordinances and washings. It consists of Temple Sacrifices. Read Ezek. 20:24 25, Jer 7:22, Hebrews 9:9 10.

IF YOU KEEP ONE LAW, YOU HAVE TO KEEP 'EM ALL! James 2:10, Romans 11> The saved are a Chosen Nation; 12:1; Matt 4:4, 23:23. We are to live by EVERY WORD, Isaiah 28:10. Don’t Even Try!?
Should we sin that unmerited favor abound? Romans 6. Maybe we ought to break the Sabbath, commit adultery, rob a bank, and get into a good fight, just so that we will not be "under the law". No! Don’t do that! Strive to be perfect, even as the Father is perfect. Keep His Torah, that is, His Commandments, statutes and judgments in the right spirit, in the heart.

Did Messiah die to nail the Laws to the stake? Then, did He post
all the Laws except for any Sabbath mitvoh/Laws of praising? Correct? No! The perfect Lamb died not to nullify His Commandments, but He died and offered Himself for the sin penalty, even the Law of sin and death. The Church has attempted to annul the Ten Commandments and all the whole law. Now homosexuality and abortion are rampant in America and the world. We complain! We call on the talk show host and cry but remember, we didn't want any law!
There are no divisions of Torah such as CEREMONIAL, JUDICIAL AND MORAL. We DO see COMMANDMENTS, STATUTES AND JUDGMENTS. Let us then live by every Word of YaHVaH. SACRIFICIAL TEMPLE LAWS are often meant by the word "Law".

“THE LAW IS JEWISH!” The entire BOOK is Jewish, the Messiah,
Apostles, even Salvation are Jewish. Follow after the Scriptures.
John 4:22. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:
for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Elohim is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
New Jerusalem is Jewish. Are we somewhat anti Semitic, having been influenced by the Romans of the Dark Ages, that we do not wish to praise the King of Yisrael on His Pure Convocations (of the gathering together)?
While Protestants support their state-licensed denominations, they indirectly support seminaries. There, they may teach the Law of YaHVaH is annulled, and with Higher Criticism attack the authority and ***
inspiration of the Scriptures. But once again, see Romans 11 in The Word. That we all must be grafted-in to His Good Olive Tree.

“ARE THERE TWO NEW COVENANTS, ONE FOR THE JEWS, THE OTHER FOR THE GENTILES?” No, YeremiYah 31 refers to the one New Covenant. Hebrews 8 & 10 addresses Judah and “Israel, the Northern Kingdom.
If you've been grafted into the good Olive Tree, justified by Faith in the true Messiah, baptized into His Name, confessed Him and repented, and even have called upon the Name of YaHVaH, you have been saved from death. Here is proof: Romans 11, 2:29,
Eph. 2:12, That at that time ye were without YaHOSHA, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without YaH in the world:
Col. 2:9-14 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be YaHOSHA Messiah’s, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Deut. 10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.

  Misconceptions
“I'M COVERED BY JESUS' RIGHTEOUSNESS, not by WORKS.” We can't be righteous while deliberately sinning and doing the opposite; that is hypocrisy and pseudo righteousness.
We say, "MY HEART IS RIGHT WITH ELOHIM". Allow for self-deception, or even worse, a strong delusion. Rom.1:24 28, 2 Thes. 2:11, Is 66, Jer 17:9
Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; but a prating fool shall fall.
Proverbs 3:7 Trust in YaHVaH with all your heart and LEAN NOT UNTO YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.

"THOU ART A LEGALIST!" That is false judging from outsiders. Col.2:16; John 7 Judge RIGHTEOUS judgment A legalist is someone who loves YAHVAH more than the accuser. She might also be a person who thinks she is saved by keeping the law. Instead we ought to know that only Faith in YaHVaH’s Son will save and deliver us.

MIRACLES: Miracles, success, prosperity and larger churches do not authenticate a ministry, belief nor does it prove pure doctrine. Spiritual
gifts do not prove you're saved. They do not disprove The Law.
Take pride only in The Word, the King of Kings. Maranantha!

***
As we study The Torah, we do not endorse the faulty practice of higher criticism, “Who, what where when why, who was He speaking to”. This might eliminate all of us as intended recipients. Here are two Scriptural rules: IsaiYah 28 and Matthew 4:4.
Shalom, Brethren! Enjoy the Feasts in the Kingdom of YaHVaH!  TsephanYah
